The ecumenical mission by the River of Life Fellowship from Slovakia to the Community Church Edinburgh, and the Parish of St. Patrick, Scotland
At the invitation of the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh, Mgr. Philip J. Kerr and the Protestant church: Community Church Edinburgh, the missionary fellowship River of Life together with a Redemptorist missionary, Fr. Rastislav Dluhy, led various evangelisation and formation activities for some Catholic and Protestant communities in Edinburgh. In the evangelisation programme that took place from 12 to 16 November, not only Scottish people but Poles and other nationalities took part. River of Life spoke to and led meetings and prayers for participants of an ecumenical course called Ignite. They also did an evening for the Polish Catholic Legion of Mary group. Students from St. Thomas Aquinas and Holy Rood schools also heard the gospel proclaimed by River of Life.

Slovak Redemptorists and 80 lay missionaries together for a week
From July 11th to 18th, three Redemptorists of Bratislava Vice- Province and two covenant mission fellowships, River of Life and Calvary, met together to rest, reflect and celebrate. Each morning Fr. Michal Zamkovský, C.Ss.R, led a short reflection on community and missionary life. He used meditations from the book Easter People by Cardinal Tagle of Manila. The reflection was followed by sharing in small groups. Each day before lunch the community celebrated the Eucharist.
Slovak Redemptorists conduct a parish mission in Karaganda, Kazachstan
From June 13th till June 22nd Slovak Redemptorists (Viceprovince Bratislava) are conducting a parish mission in Karaganda, Kazachstan. Fr. Michal Zamkovský, Fr. Jozef Jackanin and 6 lay missionaries from the River of Life fellowship are creating a mission team. Karaganda used to be one of the biggest gulags. It was called KARLAG. More than 800.000 people were imprisoned in this concentration camp in the past.
Lay missionaries from Slovakia conducted retreats in Kenya
From Nov 27 till Dec 12 two retreats in Kenya took place. First was a retreat for 200 men in parish of Kilgoris and the other was a parish retreat in Loitokitok near Tansanian border. 7 lay missionaries of River of life fellowship (Bratislava Viceprovince ) together with Fr. Rastislav Dluhý were leading these retreats.
